This book has a lot of information about plants and popular uses. I've seen the newer versions of the book and it has color pictures that make it easier to see plant photos.
This book is used as a textbook for a class I am taking, but as a general read, I recommend it.

Good textbook

So far am really enjoying this textbook, it has short easy to read chapters and isn't terribly boring. Good illustrations and doesn't try to be overly wordy or confusing to begginer students. Great textbook for a botany student or someone just wanting to learn more about the subject.
